Mrs. Mary Akins died at her home in Liberty July 3, aged 87 years. She was born in the town of Andes, Delaware county. Her husband died twenty-nine years ago. She had resided in Liberty for about twenty years. She is survived by the following children: George H. Akins, Emmalinda Conklin, Mary M. Brown, all of Livingston Manor; Hannah Elizabeth Newland, of Osceola, Pa. Interment was made in the Liberty cemetery.
