Mr. Apple, 1642 N. Center, came to Arizona in 1958 from Duenweg, Mo., where he had been owner and manager of a construction business. He had been deputy county assessor for Jasper County, Mo.
Survivors of Mr. Apple, who had lived in Mesa 6 ½ years, include five sons, R. W. and Richard E. of Phoenix; Guy Jr. and Donald L. of Mesa; and W.R. of Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Janelle Adamson of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Phyllis Allen of Alma, Neb.; two brothers and three sisters out of state; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden, Scottsdale. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery.
