Passed away Tuesday at home.

Son of Reid Estel and Zella Mae Wells Evans.
Married Anthelene Black March 29, 1986. She preceded him in death April 7, 2014.
Survivors include brother Fred Evans; several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers Herman Harold, Paul Ross "Chic" and Donald Eugene Evans; sisters Leota "Bobbie" Auffenorde and Mary Crawforth.

1955 graduate of Roachdale High School.

Served in the United States Army from 1960-1963 and was stationed in Germany.

Worked at R.R. Donnelly's for 40 years.

Member of Ladoga Baptist Church.

He was Red Coat Volunteer at the hospital for many years. He loved the bible and could quote many bible scriptures.

Funeral service 11am Saturday, January 4 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, Crawfordsville with military rites by the National Guard and Legion Post 72 Honor Guard.
Visitation one hour prior to service.
