Adelie Ruth Ledyard, 82, who moved to the Santa Cruz area in 1930, died Sunday in a local nursing home.
She came here from San Jose and lived in the Ledyard Acres area of Aptos. She was a court reporter for superior courts in Santa Cruz and San Benito counties. Mrs. Ledyard was a member of the Garfield Park Christian church and P.E.O., Santa Cruz Chapter E.D. for some 30 years
Surviving are a son, David Ledyard of Santa Cruz; daughter, Mrs. Jane Glass of Aptos; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary E. Clark and Mrs. Alice Aboudara, both of Aptos, and 13 grandchildren and five great-grand children.
Services will be conducted at the Wessendorf and Holmes chapel, 223 Church St., Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Dr. Carroll Roberts officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.
