Valerie "Betty" Galantowicz, (nee Darnowski) July 22, 2003 of Depew, NY, beloved wife of the late Albin; dearest mother of Dr. Thomas (Mary), Theodore (Peggy), Col. Mark (Kathie) and Paul (Alison); grandmother of nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister of Mary (Charles) Murello and the late Agnes Brunner; also survived by nieces and nephews.
Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.), where funeral services will be held Friday at 9 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Adalbert's Cemetery. Mrs. Galantowicz was a member of Queen of Martyrs Altar and Rosary Society and its Golden Agers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Red Cross or American Cancer Society.
