Carlos "Speed" Daniel
Perry - Funeral services will be held today at First Baptist Church for Carlos Milton "Speed" Daniel, 69, of Georgia Ave., who died Tuesday in a local hospital. The Rev. Allan Lockerman will officiate. Burial will be in Perry Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Daniel was the son fo the late Chester Ryals Daniel and the late Lois Clark. He was retired from quality control at Robins Air force Base. He has lived in Perry for 40 years. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist church. He was a Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Daniel of Perry; one daughter [named]; one son [named]; two sisters, Willouise Hamilton of Dublin and Gloria Moore of Atlanta; two brothers, Virgil Daniel of Dublin and John Daniel of Warner Robins; and three grandchildren.
Watson-Hunt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
