He died at Holy Trinity Vicarage, Tunbridge Wells, Kent. He was 'of Southfield, Bouverie Road.' Probate to Edith Allfree, spinster, Rev. Francis Ralph Allfree and Edward Percy Hollams, solicitor. In 1901 he was living at 55 Bouverie Road West with two daughters, Adela aged 48 and Edith aged 45. Also three servants.

He was the son of William Allfree; he married Elizabeth Hopkins on the 25 Oct 1843 in East Grinstead, Sussex.
