UTICA – Akeem R. Caye, 26, passed away on December 20, 2019 unexpectedly.
Akeem was born and raised in Utica, NY. He attended Proctor High School. He was an amazing tattoo artist at Twisted Images, Syracuse. When Akeem wasn’t working he loved to rap and draw. He was the best father, son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend anyone could ask for.
Akeem is survived by his mother, Charity Caye; sister, Jyra; brothers, Roemello, Boysie and William; Manya, who he had four children with, Leilani, Julianna, Akeem, Jr., and Donovan; J-Lin who he had a daughter with, Jy’elle, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Delvonte. Also surviving are his father, Tito Nacimento; sisters, Jade, Takiya and Meribah and brothers, Dontae and Tafari.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday from 12-2 p.m. Funeral services will commence after visitation at 2 p.m.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
