She married Daniel Bixler in Hegins Township, before 1840. Their children were: Harriet (1840- ), Elizabeth (1841/2-1926), Sarah (1844- ), Amos (1845-1929), Nathan (Nathaniel 1848-1915), Christiana (1849/50- ) and Joseph C. (1855-1930).
A year following the birth of Joseph, she died. Her father, owner of a "tavern house known as 'The Schuylkill County Hotel'" had died a few months before Christiana, so her brother Solomon was named as the guardian of her minor children's inheritance.
