Carmen Leal Lopez
Carmen was first wife to my grandfather (Papa) Enrique V. Calvillo.
They married on, 21 Jan 1946 in Mexico, Distrito Federal, México.
In their union they have one son and one daughter. Their son Enrique has passed away.
And their daughter is still living.
Some of our family found out about this union several years later. I want to say around 1997.
My mom is part of Enrique's second union. After Papa told us about his first marriage and having other
children my mom began her search. My mom was Maria Ygnacia Calvillo-Schmidt, she passed away in 2003 due to cancer.
Well, I begin my tree inquiry and learned so much information about my family's history that I made it a point to share it. I then made a family website. I made a posting in search of finding my Papa's first family. I wanted to know my family as much as my momma did!! Well long story short we had found them. Or should I say they found us. I found my Uncle's death certificate on line, which gave me the name of my Papa's first wife. This helped us in our families finding.
Now we have my Aunt and her family in our lives. I sure hope and pray my Momma and Papa are smiling down on us knowing they are part of ours!!
