Mrs. Ella Vaught, 67, died of heart disease at 4:45 o'clock this morning at her resident, 620 Trendly Av. after more than four months illness. She had made her home here for the past five years with her daugher Mrs. Ada Odell removing to East St. Louis from Shawneetown, Illinoios. Her birth place was Mattoon.
Surviving besides Mrs. Odell is another daughter, Gertrude Harrison, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be by motor to Shawneetown where services will take place at Hogan's Cemetery under the direction of Linder. She will be buried by the side of her husband, the late John Vaught, who preceeded her in death 21 years ago.
