Hilda L. Hard, 100, of Worthington Christian Village, went to be with her Lord March 22, 2012.
A former resident of East Beaumont Road, Columbus, she loved the Village and called it “home”. Member, Worthington Presbyterian Church and Woodrow Guild of the church. Member and Past Matron, Worthington Chapter No. 287, Order of the Eastern Star. Member of the Social Order of the Beauceant No. 79, Columbus.
Preceded in death by husband, Aaron Hard, Jr.; sisters, Eleanor (Fred) Schiefer, Leah (Glen) Clingman; brother, Kenneth E. (Valetta) Legge; and nephews, Kenneth L. and James R. Legge. Survived by nieces, Lois (David) Ereira, Carol (John) Ramsey, Eloise (Fred) Wiles, Marilyn (John) Redden; nephews, Jack (Ruth), Landis (Barbara) Legge, David (Kathy) Clingman, and Fred L. Schiefer. Also survived by several great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Worthington Christian Village, 165 Highbluffs Blvd., Saturday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m., the Reverends Roger Au and John Ramsey officiating.
