-Shelba Jean Kent, age 80, passed away at Haywood Regional Medical center on Monday, December 16, 2019.
Shelba loved to read, cook, and spend time with her family and friends. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence & Jessie Page, daughter Sherri; and multiple brothers and sisters.
Shelba is survived by her husband, Glenn D. Kent; two sons, Shah (Nikki) Smart of Taylors, SC and Heith Kent; two stepchildren, Dewayne Kent and LaDonna Smith; two sisters, Ann George and Ronnie (Bill) Harris, along with six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held at Smoky Mountain Chapel.
