Rose Kiser 80, of Piedmont, MO, passed away November 7, 2019, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Karen Rosalie Tinker was born in Cairo, IL, on March 22, 1939, to parents Chester G. and Minnie (Bratton) Tinker. Rose was a kind and loving wife, mother, “Nanny”, sister, aunt, and friend. She grew up and graduated high school in Williamsville. She married Joe Kiser, September 7, 1957 and they raised their family in Piedmont. She was dedicated to service in the United Methodist church throughout her life. She was active in the community, where she was loved and respected by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by both her parents. Rose is survived by her adoring husband of sixty-two years; Charles Joseph “Joe” Kiser; children: Becky Ahner of Jackson, MO, Jon Kiser and wife Pam of Piedmont, MO, Mark Kiser and wife Pam of Bonne Terre, MO; grandchildren: Beth Ahner of Pittsburg, PA, Chelsea Kiser of St. Louis, MO, Brenna Greeline of Dallas TX, A.J. Ahner of Grand Rapids, MI, Aaron Kiser of St. Louis, MO, Jacy Kiser of Piedmont, MO; God-daughter: Tara Little of University City, MO; sister: Dolores Nichols of Westminster, CO: brother: Russell Tinker of Troy, MO. Visitation was from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, November 11, 2019, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Piedmont. Funeral service followed at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 12, 2019, also at Trinity United Methodist Church. Pastor Tad Kruithoff ministered to the family. Kevin Kinnard read the obituary and provided a heartfelt eulogy. Special piano selections were provided by Jacy Kiser and Sherry Woods. Beth Ahner, A.J. Ahner, Jacy Kiser, Chelsea Kiser, Brenna Greeling, Aaron Kiser served as pallbearers. Burial was in Masonic cemetery, Piedmont.
