Mrs. Arana was born in Santa Cruz and lived here her entire life. She was a member of the sons of Norway and the Grand Grove Druids of California. She is survived by two sons, Robert Arana of Redwood City and Gerald Arana of Santa Cruz; her daughter, Arlene Lazarotti of Santa Cruz; four brothers, William Tenneson of Vallejo, Elmer Tenneson of Freedom, Henry Tenneson of Campbell and Norman Tenneson of Santa Clara; her sister, Mildred Kibler of Sunnyvale; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her husband, David Ben Arana, died in Santa Cruz in 1972.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at White's Chapel, 138 Walnut Ave. Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Chapel. Interment will be in Santa Cruz Memorial Park.
