Ms. Kathleen Ada Hartley Codd, age 94 died Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Wrightsville Manor. A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 23, 2019 at Christ Episcopal Church with Rev. J. Patrick Hunt officiating.
Ms. Codd was born March 22, 1925 in Ironwood, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Andrew “Butch” Hartley and Erna Bowman Hartley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Codd and by her son Jon Douglas Langdon. She retired after thirty-two years as a bookkeeper for Air Con Heating and Air in Atlanta. She had also worked as a bank teller and a loom operator, and loved to crochet, knit sweaters and make most of her clothing. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Dublin and was a resident of Johnson County for the past three years.
Ms. Codd is survived by her son Donald Patrick Langdon of Wrightsville and grandson Reuben Langdon of California.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
