Pelham Winslow was a founding member of the Old Colony Club in Plymouth.

George Atkinson Ward, Journals and Letters of the Late Samuel Curwen... And Biographic Notices of Many Prominent Loyalists and Other Eminent Men (1845) p. 548: "Pelham Winslow, Esq., an attorney of Plymouth, Massachusetts, was a son of General John Winslow, of Marshfield; and graduated at Harvard College in 1753. He was driven into Boston, and was a major in the British service; proscribed by the act of 1778; and died at Flushing, Long Island, in 1783."

He died of a fever while planning to send his family to live in Nova Scotia in a Loyalist settlement with his brother-in-law Gideon White. He was buried with the British army stationed at Flushing, Queens, New York. His exact burial is unknown.
