MCLEAN - O.P. "Blank" Blankenship, 96, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, in Pampa.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Hillcrest Cemetery with Jim Reyna, minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Bailey-Ware Funeral Home.
Mr. Blankenship was born Sept. 6, 1905, in Paris, Texas. He was a longtime resident of the McLean area.
Survivors include a daughter, Eva O. Emmert of McLean; and numerous other relatives.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.

Orell is the son of Thomas Jefferson and Mary Jane "Molly" Haddock Blankenship. He is the grandson of Noah Uriah and Mary Angeline Herrington Haddock.
