Charles Ray DeWeese was born November 20, 1938 in Hayti, Missouri to Charles Hassell DeWeese and Mary Sue (Thomason) Morris. He passed from this life on December 17, 2019 in Antlers, Oklahoma at the age of 81.

Charles married Johnny Lee Humphreys on October 4, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He moved to Antlers in 1978 and worked for ODOT as a Professional Engineer. Charles was a member of the Stanley Christ Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his spouse: Johnny Lee DeWeese; parents: Charles H. DeWeese and Mary Sue Morris; siblings: Phillip Humphreys, Edgar Humphreys, James Charles Humphreys, and Eileen Beasley.

Charles is survived by his children: Mark DeWeese of Buffalo Valley, OK and Tia Carter and husband Dwight of Antlers, OK; grandchildren: Christopher DeWeese, Joshua DeWeese, Jackie Ray Boren and wife Tara, Michael Boren and wife Tiffany, Annie Nelson and husband Matt, Kaylyn Carter, William Carter, and Jacob Carter; great-grandchildren: Callie and Conner Boren, Layla and Mackenzie Boren, Takara, Ryley, and Jena Nelson, Austin Carter, and Mason Ryan; siblings: June Young and husband Jim of Buffalo Valley, OK and Susie Fields and husband Larry of Bristow, OK.

Graveside services will be held at Snooks Humphreys Family Cemetery in Whitesboro, Oklahoma.
