With tears we watched you suffer and watched you fade away, with courage and concern for others you fought so hard to stay. But God saw that you were weary and did what He thought best, He gently took you in His arms and whispered, 'come and rest'. Connie, age 62, joined her husband, Jerry K. Wight, Sr. and her parents, Victor and Dorothy Torok in heaven on September 10, 2005.
Beloved mother of Jerry K. Wight, Jr. (Lisa), and adoring grandmother of Kiefer and Kody Wight, Connie also leaves 2 sisters, Judy (Denny) Carn and Christina (Roger) Bergh, and 9 brothers, David (Connie), Duane (Peg), Jim (Julie), Fred (Sue), Don (Debbie), Victor (Laurie), Steve (Diane), Bryan (Mary), and Phillip (Mary) Torok, and many loving nieces and nephews. Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be Thursday, September 15, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3815 S. Cedar with the Rev. Fr. John Byers as celebrant.
