ANOTHER OLD SETTLER DEAD.

Frederick Bohm Passes Away After a Lingering Illness.

Frederick Bohn, an old resident of Nebraska, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Schulz, 219 Broad street, last evening at 8:30 o'clock. Mr. Bohm was seventy-five years of age and came to Nebraska thirty-two years ago. For more than twenty years he has been a resident of Dodge county. Previous to coming to this state he resided in Illinois for many years. The deceased was born in Germany and came to the United States at an early age.

On September 18, Mr. Bohm underwent an operation for cancer of the stomach. Since that time he has been bedfast and has never fully recovered. Of late he had suffered a great deal and had been kept under the influence of medicine much of the time. His death has been expected for some time by his relatives.

Mr. Bohm leaves a wife and three daughters. The latter are Mrs. William Mercer, and Mrs. Fred Schulz, of Fremont and Mrs. Max Gruby, of Chicago. The funeral will take place at the residence of Mrs. Schulz tomorrow at 10 o'clock. Interment will take place at Ridge cemetery.
