Private funeral services were held Monday from the graveside in Magnolia Park Cemetery, for Elizabeth C. Carter, Freeman Dr., who died Saturday at the Medical Center of Houston Co. The Rev. Ronald Culpepper officiated.
Mrs, Carter was a native of Columbia, S.C. She had lived in Warner robins for the past 34 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Manley Carter, of Warner Robins; one son Manley L. "Sonny" Carter Jr., of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Ben Corvette, Jr., of Tampa, Fla., and Theodore Corvette of Atlanta; two granddaughters [named] of Houston, Texas.
Contributions may be made to the Astronaut Scholarship Fund, Rice University, Houston, TX in her memory.
