Wayne S. Rideout, 65 of Halifax passed away on December 7, 2019 due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident. The son of the late Emerson and Lillian (Lambert) Rideout. He was raised and educated in Brockton and Holbrook.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen (Mara) of 35 years. He was the beloved father of Chris, Tracy, Derek Rideout and Christina Cummings and her husband Joseph. Dear brother of Mark Rideout and his wife Audrey, the late Emerson Rideout, Charles Carney, Walter Carney and Richard Carney, He was the proud Papa of Alexa, Noah, Aiden, Giana, Grace and Jameson who were the pride and joy of his life. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a special cousin, brother-in-law and a wonderful and loyal friend to all.
Wayne was an inspiration to all who knew him. He always has a smile on his face that could light up a room. He loved spending time with family and friends. Wayne was always there to help anyone in need. He was the life of the party with a wonderful sense of humor. Wayne was a special person to all who knew him. He will be missed but never forgotten.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St, at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in Hanson on Thursday, December 12th from 4pm to 7pm followed by a funeral home service at 7pm.
