December 10, 2019, brought to a close 85 years of a life well lived for Betty Nossaman. Betty Jane Key Nossaman was born August 30, 1934, in Moro, Arkansas. She is the youngest of 13 children born to Andrew Jackson Key and Dora Virginia Hudspeth.
Betty was a beautician in her professional life for over 20 years. She enjoyed her craft and the great many clients and friends through the years. She was a talented cook, seamstress, and decorator. Betty’s true vocation was her family and home. She was a mother to two loving sons, Rick Hughes and Anthony Nossaman, and to one daughter, Nadaline Nossaman Burkleo.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmo E Nossaman; three brothers, Sidney Key, AJ Key, and Wesley Key; nine sisters, Bertha McNair, Helen Reese, Mildred Wilson, Hester Bates, Ruth Rigsby, Margaret Mahan, Juanita Lambert, and Florence Manasco; and one granddaughter, Danya Burkleo.
Betty is survived by one sister, Aline Dickerson of Grapevine, TX; two sons, Rick Hughes and wife, Cindy, of Oklahoma City, OK, Anthony Nossaman and wife, Debra, of Dallas, TX; one daughter, Nadaline Burkleo of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Chris Burkleo of Norman, OK, Kanan Hughes, and Noah Hughes, both of Oklahoma City, OK; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson, Leo Eller of Bethal, OK.
