Bonita was born Oct. 30, 1953, to Dale and Mary Shostrom in Moscow. Bonita's family moved to Lewiston in 1964 and she attended Lewiston High School, graduating in 1972.
She married her first husband, Gale Aspelund, and they had two sons, living mostly on the West Coast.
In 1979, she married her second husband, Britt Holder; they moved to Florida and had a third son.
Bonita loved to travel and experience new adventures. She lived in many different places and held a variety of jobs: she was a model, seamstress, teacher, waitress, bus driver, retail clerk and, in 2000, she graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Okla. She spoke at many different Christian events.
Preceded in death by her parents, Bonita is survived by her children, Dale and Pandora Aspelund of Lake Stevens, Dante Aspelund of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Jeramy Holder of Punta Gorda; her beautiful granddaughter, Lottie Anne Aspelund of Lake Stevens; and her sisters and brothers in-law, Connie and John Daly of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Lorna and Dale Dunlap of Lewiston. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and many aunts, uncles, cousins, church family and friends that she loved so very much.
There will be a memorial celebration of Bonita's life at 1 p.m. Feb. 21 at Abundant Life Church, located at 1483 16th Ave., in Clarkston.
