Samuel Wilson Morgan (~1804-~1862) was born in Nottoway County, Virginia and passed away in Warrenton, Warren County, North Carolina and Esther Jane Robinson (~1818-1876) born in Greensville County, Virginia and passed away in Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina and is resting in Warrenton, Warren County, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Mr. S. A. Robinson (?-?). On 13 July 1834 in Greensville County, Virginia, Samuel and Esther marry. Samuel is noted as the son of Captain Samuel Morgan (~1770-~1834) of South Carolina and Lucy Wills (~1767-~1844).

In 1850, he and his family are living in Petersburg, Dinwiddie, Virginia. His name is noted as Samuel B. Morgan. He is age 46 born about 1804 in Virginia. He is a bank teller.

In 1860, he and his family have not yet been found in the census.

From family records, it states that Samuel passed away in Warrenton, Warren County, North Carolina. No obituary has yet been found for him. His wife Esther passed away in Hickory and her remains were interred in Warrenton, Warren County, North Carolina according to her death notice. There are no known family connections in Warrenton so it is thought she was buried next to her husband. They could either be resting in the Old Warrenton Cemetery or Fairview Cemetery which were both active during the times of their passings.
