Lavonia was born November 21, 1920 in Smithfield Utah to Elmer and Racheal Coleman. Lavonia married Wendell L. Hulse July 17, 1940 in the Logan Temple and they were married for 58 years. Together they were blessed and able to adopt two children, Bill and Bette. She later married Vernon Hulse until his death in May.
Lavonia was a dedicated Wife, Mother and Grandmother first and foremost she treasured her family. She especially loved her role as Grandma and embraced every moment with her Grandchildren.
Lavonia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings. She and Wendell served a mission for the Church in Ohio and she was grateful for the wonderful experiences she had serving the Lord.
Lavonia is survived by her daughter Bette Davis (Tom), and her beloved grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Husband Wendell Hulse and Husband Vernon Hulse, Son Bill Hulse and Grandson Jason Westfall, Brother Lee Coleman and Sister Olive Cooper.

She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts until we meet again.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Central Ward Chapel, 60 West Gordon, Layton. Friends may visit family Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
