Mrs. Usher died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1992, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 29, 1897, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Louis and Cecelia Cooper Tow.
A former vaudeville actress, she later owned and operated a dress shop in Erie, Pa. She moved to Lawrence in 1969 from Erie.
She was married to George Usher, and he preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Joan Longhurst, of the home; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
