Mrs. Eli (Bertha) Huddleston, formerly of Huron, died Wednesday at Whittier, Calif., at the age of 89.

Graveside rite will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Riverside Cemetery.

Bertha Maude Fox was born March 6, 1886, at Duncan, Ill., to Mr. an Mrs. John Fox. She married Eli Huddleston, April 23, 1930, and they resided in Hand County until 1934 when they moved to Huron. She had been in California since 1955.

Survivors are one son, Clarence, Orange, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Clark (Lula) Erving, Independence, Ore., Mrs. Buster (Clara) Allison, Lake Elsinore, Calif., Mrs. Les (Beulah) Peterson, Montclair, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Hattie Gingrich, Wyoming, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1959.
