Paul Blackledge Wright, 88, of Fontana died of a stroke Saturday at Citrus Nursing Care.
Wright, a native of Terre Haute, Ind., lived in Fontana 34 years. He was an engineering for Pacific Telephone/Bell Laboratories for 42 years and was a member of the Professional Society of American Engineers and Telephone Pioneers of America. He also served in the Army Corps of Engineers.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, four daughters, 23 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Green Acres Memorial Park, 11715 Cedar Ave., Bloomington.
