Raymond E. McIndoe, 91, of Butler passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at Concordia at Cabot.

He was born Jan. 23, 1928, in Butler, and was the son of the late William and Edna (Guthrie) McIndoe.

Ray was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran.

He had been a goat driver and retired from Armco after 43 years of service. He was a member of the Butler First Church of the Nazarene. Ray's hobby was tinkering and repairing televisions.

Surviving are his wife, Betty L. (Huffman) McIndoe; two sons and their wives, four granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, one brother-in-law, and two brothers and their wives.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert McIndoe and William McIndoe; and his grandson, Dean McIndoe Jr.

MCINDOE - Friends of Raymond E. McIndoe, who died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev. Leon Blaise officiating.

Committal service and military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Greenlawn Burial Estates Chapel.
