Funeral service will be Friday, June 21, 2013 at 11amCT/12pm noon CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Clergy officiating will be Rev. William Davenport and Bro. John Tupman. Interment in the Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. The family request visitation after 3:30pmCT/4:30pmET, on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY.
Pallbearers: Steven King, Jon Loy, Roger McKinney, Nickie Richards, Johnathon Vaughn, and Bobby Withers.
He was born in Milltown, Adair County, KY on Friday December 8, 1950. He was the son of the late A. Z. and Ruth Janes Burris of Adair County, KY. He died Tuesday, June 18, 2013, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 62 years, 6 months, and 10 days.

Three brothers: David A. Burris and wife Betty of Milltown, KY; Mike Burris and wife Carolyn of Russell Springs, KY; and Phillip Burris and wife Marilyn of Campbellsville, KY
Several nieces and nephews
and a host of other relatives and friends.
