Frank Bowers, 81, Contractor, Dies
  Frank B. Bowers, 81, 1166 Harvard Ave. (1105 South), former president of the Intermountain Chapter, Associated General Contractors and a former president of the Bonneville Stake, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died at his home Sunday of natural causes.
  He was active in the LDS Church, having served as vice chairman of the Church Building Committee and for 14 years a member of the Bonneville Stake High Council. Mr. Bowers had also been bishop of the LeGrand Ward.
  He served on the Board of Governors of the Chamber of Commerce.
  Born in Salt Lake City Oct. 10, 1892, a son of John S. and Esther Fullmer Bowers, he married Winifred Sanders on Jan. 4, 1917. She died in 1972.
  Survivors include his two sons and two daughters, Eugene S., Richard S., both Salt Lake City; Winnifred Bowers, New York City; Nancy B. Florian, Marion, Conn.; and 17 grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Garden Park LDS Ward chapel, 1150 Yale Ave. (1080 South).
  Friends may call at the Bowers' residence on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
