Cecilia Jane Schones was born May 28, 1951 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Jeweldean (Dipple) and Clifford Ray Dew. She went to meet her Lord on December 1, 2019 at Yukon, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, 6 months and 3 days.
Cecilia graduated in May of 1969 from Canute High School. She was married to Glendean Schones on December 20, 1969 in Elk City, Oklahoma. They had a full life until his death in 2007. Together they had two beautiful children, Glen Alan Schones and Dana Renae (Schones) Trinidad, four grandchildren, Ashlee Schones, Kristi Schones, Maranda Schones and Ashlynn Trinidad, two great grandchildren, Peyton Jane Brown and Brynlee Lynn Woods.
She worked for the Elk City school system for many years. The last 13 years as secretary at Northeast Elementary before retiring in 2006. They moved to Mustang, Oklahoma for Glendean to be closer to doctors before his passing.
She battled cancer for a number of years before her death.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Bobby Dew.
She is survived by her children, Glen Alan Schones and wife, Marsha, Elk City, OK, Dana Trinidad and husband, Greg, Yukon, OK; 4 grandchildren, Ashlee Schones and Broady Woods, Yukon, OK, Kristi Schones, Maranda Schones, both of Elk City, OK and Ashlynn Trinidad, Yukon, OK; 2 great grandchildren, Peyton Brown and Brynlee Woods, Yukon, OK; 1 sister, Linda Feil and husband, Gene, Plano, TX; 1 brother, Cecil Dew and wife, Mary, Piedmont, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at Whinery Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be in the Parkersburg Cemetery under the direction of Whinery Funeral Service.∼Cecilia Schones
