Hertha Heath, 86, was born to Jasper and Florence Westbrooks. During her working years, she worked for Dow Chemical, Troup Elementary School and for Central Baptist Church in the late 70's-80's. She then stayed home to care for her grandchildren and household. Hertha enjoyed sewing, embroidery, quilting and love to antique; where she always felt the need to touch everything she saw while shopping. Hertha and her husband, Glen, were active in a jail and prison ministry and Bible study. She was a long time member of Grace Fellowship Church in Rusk.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Glen Heath, Jr. and sister, Helena Hope Cameron.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Glen Heath of New Summerfield; son, Marty Heath; daughter, Julie Clark (Dane); beloved niece, Lori Brown; grandchildren, Cody Heath (Brandi), Christian Johnson, Christopher Seth Clark (Samantha), and Jake Clark; great granddaughter, Adira Clark and another onthe way.
Memorials may be made to MD Anderson .
