Clarence E. (Jr.) Lloyd Clarence E. "Junior" Lloyd, Jr, 79 years old of Green City, Missouri passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his home in Green City. Junior was born on September 5, 1937 west of Green City to Clarence and Alma Ruth (Kiger) Lloyd. On July 9, 1958 he married his high school sweetheart Judy Rouse in Green City. Survivors include his wife, Judy of the home, a son Martin and wife Janet Lloyd of Green City; three daughters, Melodie and husband Allen Lewis of LaPlata, Missouri, Melanie and husband Steve Peterson of Kirksville, Missouri, Melinda and husband Rod Hatcher of Milan, Missouri, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, a brother Thomas and wife Vicki Lloyd of Kirksville, Missouri and a sister in-law, Bonnie and husband Paul Judd of Pharr, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alma Lloyd, two brothers, one at birth and Roger Lloyd, his in-laws, Payne and Juanita Rouse. He was a farmer and was employed at Con Agra for five years, before his employment with the Missouri Highway Transportation Department. After 37 years he retired at the age of 73. He enjoyed spending time with his family and on the farm. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Green City, Missouri with Rolf Christen officiating. Jana Young will provide the music. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Green City. Casket bearers are Brett Lewis, Grant Hatcher, Brandon Peterson, Jacob Hubbard, Caleb Peterson, Steve Peterson, Allen Lewis, and Rod Hatcher. Honorary bearers are Dale Niece, Gary Powell, Dennis McNear, Darrin Embree, Joe Pearce, Hal Moore, Drew Daniels, and Clint Grgurich. A scheduled visitation will be held on Friday evening December 9, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Contributions are suggested to Prairie Chapel Methodist Church, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, or Hospice of Northeast Missouri.
