Seneca – Jay Paul Wood, 60, widower of the late Colleen Francis Friel Wood, 200 Plantation Road, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015.
Born in Gastonia, NC, he was the son of the late J. Paul and Kate Schronce Wood. Mr. Wood was retired from Duke Energy and was a member of University Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Rob Wood and fiancée Angelica Mountainspring of Winston, Oregon; two grandchildren, Christopher, and Joseph.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Hough.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm, Friday, January 16, 2015 from the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home.
