Myrtie Christy, 88 died Monday, July 16, 2007, at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late James and Fannie Elmore Baldock and a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Barnes of Columbia, Carolyn Cowles and husband Thomas of Edmonson County, and Janetta Chapman and husband Roy of Glasgow; one brother, Loyd Baldock of Louisville; two sisters, Edith Chism of Glasgow and Lena Emerson of Bon Ayr; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; and one brother, Clifton Baldock.
Burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Warren County.
