Wife of Rev. Edward Y. Higbee, DD. Oldest daughter of Commodore John Dandridge Henley who was the nephew of Martha (Dandridge) Custis Washington, 1st lady of the US. He was the son of Leonard Henley and Elizabeth Dandridge. Elizabeth was Martha's sister.

Loretta sent: The Oakhill Cemetery online database cites the grave location as Amphitheater Lot 54 East and that's where I found the grave this morning.

I just posted a photo to this memorial, and I feel I owe you an apology. I tried several times, unsuccessfully, to get a good shot of the tombstone. But the tombstone is located in a very shady spot. The stone is worn and covered with moss and I just couldn't get a good shot.
