PERRY STEVEN MORRIS, SR., age 75 passed away at his residence in Beeville, on October 29, 2005. Mr. Morris was born in Cando Sarles, North Dakota on June 15, 1930 he was retired (Civil Services) 20 years from NAS Chase Field in Beeville.

Mr. Morris is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Maxine Landtroop Morris of Beeville; one daughter Melody (Mike) O'Brien of Richmond, Texas: one son Perry Steven (Melinda) Morris Jr. of Giddings, Texas; one sister Grace (Frank) Romanowaski of Lamont, Illinois; one brother Thomas (Norma) Morris of Indianapolis, Indiana; also five grandchildren

Mr. Morris is preceded in death by his parents Louis Morris and Faye Gaymon Morris.

Mr. Morris was a chaplain, served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years, Served in Vietnam, was also a Navy Seabee.

Rosary was at 7:30p.m. on Sunday October 30, 2005 at Trevino Funeral Home. Funeral was at 2:30p.m. on Monday October 31, 2005 at St. James Catholic Church with Father Eddie Garcia officiating. Burial followed at Beeville Memorial Park with full military honors.

Pallbearers were Paul. Begin, Tony Kuharski, Chuck Lawson, Paul Ruby, Mac Mackowits, Bernie Henke, Lane Morris and Jack Phillyn.

Honorary Pallbearers were Frank Gonzales, Ramon Moreno, Jack Phillips, John Sayder, Lane Morris and B.J. Hilton
