Eunice married Charles Ray King on August 12, 1960. They were married for 59 years.
Eunice was hard working and self-employed for many years. She worked at King’s Service Station for 20 years. She also had King’s Furniture for about 10 years. Eunice and Charlie had King’s Used Cars operated through the service station and then moved onto Highway 65 for 20 years. She loved working outside planting trees, flowers, and shrubs. Eunice was a faithful member of South McGehee Baptist Church of McGehee for more than 50 years. Eunice was actively involved with her church until her health would not permit it.
Eunice is survived by her husband Charles R. King of McGehee, AR., sons Charles A. King of McGehee, Lynn (Darlene) King of Arkansas City, daughters Felicia (Alex) Castillo of McGehee, and Tracy (Billy) Bates of McGehee. Eunice is the sister to Mary (Roy) Johnson of McGehee, AR, Mary Frances (Bill) Spencer of Alexander, AR, Barbara (Pat) Gillum of Arkadelphia, AR, Phyllis (Delton) Kitchell of Bryant, AR, and brother J.D. (Sue) Dunnahoe of Rohwer, AR. Eunice had 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Eunice is preceded in death of her parents the late August and Verla Mae Dunnahoe of Watson, AR and sister and brother-in-law Patsy (George) Falls of Greenbrier, AR.
Funeral services will be graveside on November 29 at 2:00 at Flat Creek Cemetery in Fountain Hill, AR. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Griffin Funeral Home of McGehee, AR.
