Barbara S. Hodson, 61, a life long Rush County resident, passed away November 20, 2019 in Columbus. She was born December 12, 1957 in Rushville to Everett Junior Abrams & Donna (Ruble) Makofka. Barbara married James Hodson on March 28, 1987 and he survives.
Barbara worked at Harcourt Outlines for 25 years.
She was a faithful servant of the Rushville Church of Christ for many years helping in every capacity.
In addition to her husband, Jim, of Lewisville, she is survived by her mother, Donna (Paul) Makofka of Laurel, her brothers, Tony (Trista) Abrams of Rushville and David Abrams of FL, her sisters, Angie (Keith) Ison of Rushville and Diana Stephens of Shelbyville, her brother-in-law, Joe (Toni) Hodson of Rushville, step brothers, Dwane (Jackie) Makofka of Rushville and Jeff (Sofia) Makofka of Fort Wayne and several nieces & nephews.
Services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, November 23, 2019 in the Rushville Church of Christ with Rev. James Coyle presiding. Friends are welcome to visit from 4-8 PM Friday evening in Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Burial will be in the Eastbrook Cemetery in Milroy following services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rushville Church of Christ or to Our Hospice.
