Shelvy G. Brock, 75, of Kentland, Indiana, passed away November 19, 2019, at 3:29 pm at IU Health, Lafayette, Indiana. He was born December 15, 1943, in Nancy, Kentucky to the late Arthur G. and Iriadia Burton Brock. He lived in Kentland, IN since 1988 and was a retired farmer.
On December 28, 1963, in Somerset, Kentucky he married Carolyn Dean Hislope Brock. He is survived by two sons, Douglas Brock, (wife, Denise), Earl Park, IN and Derrick Brock, Kentland, IN. He is a grandfather of five and a great grandfather of one.
He is also survived by two sisters, Rosie Lane, Somerset, Kentucky and Frances Burton, Nancy, Kentucky. Preceded in death by one sister, Marcella Burton. There will be no visitation, a private family service will be held at a later date. Gerts Funeral Home, Goodland, Indiana, has the honor of serving the family.
