He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judith Ann Presnell Canant, and his father and mother, Adolph Elmore, Sr. And Leila Brinson Bryan Canant. A.E. was born in Wrightsville, GA on December 25, 1934, and was raised in Naples, FL. He was a proud graduate of Florida State University, and spent a successful career in the insurance industry. A.E. and his wife were involved in Christian ministry and, with God's help, led many people to a closer walk with our Lord. He retired, and in 2004 moved to Hendersonville NC.
He is survived by his children, Laura Canant Kowalske and her husband David, Kathryn Canant, and Rebecca Canant and her wife Barbara. Grandchildren, Sarah Kowalske Cook and her husband Joseph, Allyson Kowalske Suminski and her husband Jason, Jerrod Sieck and Ashley Sieck Paris and her husband Peter. Great grandchildren, Brian Cook, Charlotte and Lillian Suminski, Abaline Sieck and baby girl Paris (on her way). Also, loving cousins and close friends.
There will be a graveside service at the Calvary Episcopal Church Cemetery in Fletcher NC.
