Marguerite A. (McGinn) Martin, wife of Anthony Martin of Taunton, died at Morton Hospital on Sept. 30, 2015. She was 79. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late George and Bertha (Danko) McGinn. Educated in Worcester schools, Marguerite was a graduate of Henry Heywood Memorial School of Nursing. Retired since 1996, she was employed by Morton Hospital where she worked as an RN for over 35 years. Marguerite was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan and enjoyed camping on Cape Cod. A communicant of St. Anthony Church, she enjoyed Crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, James A. Martin and his wife Gale of Taunton; 2 daughters, Jeanne M. Hebert and her husband Luke and Lisa A. Hebert and her husband Mark, all of Taunton; a brother, Robert McGinn of Worcester; 2 sisters, Geraldine Stephenson of Worcester and Mary Ann Smith and her husband Raymond of Millbury; 9 grandchildren, James Martin II, Daniel and Shawn Martin, Luke, Timothy, Amy, Kara and Jared Hebert and Jennifer Cusson; a great grandson, Gian Lampis-Martin; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Francis McGinn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Church on Saturday, Oct. 10th at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marguerites name may be made to the American Heart Association 300 5th Ave. Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451-8750.
