Aaron Jacob Ponder, 29, of Russellville, passed away on October 25, 2018, at his residence.
He was born on September 5, 1989, in Jefferson City, a son of Edward L. and Brenda A. (Bolin) Ponder.
Aaron graduated from Eugene High School and attended Columbia College.
He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Marine Corps League. Aaron worked for Grizzly Landscaping in Columbia and was currently employed as a lineman by American Water.
He enjoyed playing video games, working out with his brother and spending time at the shooting range. Aaron was an exceptional handyman and worked on many projects.
His greatest joys were the times spent with his daughter.
Aaron is survived by his daughter: Erin Elizabeth Ponder of Russellville; parents: Ed and Gail Ponder of Russellville; and brother: Ryan Ponder of Columbia; step siblings: Matthew Johnson, Amanda Wilbers, Victoria Wieberg and Grover Johnson, IV.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Brenda Bolin and grandparents: Patricia Neal, William Ponder, Norman Bolin and Alva Bolin.
Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Houser-Millard Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Aaron’s Life with full military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Houser-Millard Funeral Home.
