Brandi L. McCormick-Bodkins, 33, Gas City, passed away at 6:50 pm on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Marion General Hospital. She was born in Marion on Monday, April 28, 1986, to Randall McCormick and to Wanda Felton. She was married to Gary Bodkins, who survives.
Brandi graduated from Mississinewa High School in 2004 and took online courses from Everest University. She was a Team Leader for four years with Burger King in both Gas City and Marion. She had a love for animals and owned many pets over the years. She enjoyed her work family and spending time with her friends. More than anything, she cherished her time with family, especially going to her children's events. Brandi will be remembered as a caring, dedicated, and honest woman who wore her heart on her sleeve. She will be missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
Brandi is survived by two sons, Baylon Bodkins and Brock Fluhr, both of Gas City; two daughters, Brooklyn Bodkins and Kindle Colyer, both of Gas City; two brothers, Branden L. McCormick of Marion and Tanner D. (Maria) Ludlow of Anchorage, AK; sister, Randi Lynn (Nick) Eck of Gas City; grandfathers, Jack (Nancy) Felton and Randall (Sharon Kay) McCormick, Sr.; grandmother, Nancy (late Mike) Ginrick; and grandparents, James (Sandra) Jeffries of WV.
A Celebration of Life for Brandi will take place from 2:00-7:00 pm on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Harrisburg Event Center, 409 N. 1st St., Gas City, IN.
