Warren Malvern Hilliard, 72, of Fresno, Calif. died at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug 3, 1960, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Royal Cowan, of Dayton Rd where he had been visiting for the past three months. He died after a ten-week illness.
The deceased was born March 21, 1888 at Clearfield the son of Levi Hilliard and Ellen (Crissman) Hilliard. His wife Dorothy Hilliard died in the early 1940's.
Surviving are his three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Hubbart, Mrs. Maxine Foley, and Mrs. Lorrain Clark, all of Fresno. Three sisters, Mrs. Maude Elmes of Dayton Rd 2, Mrs. Grace Calhoun of Vandergrift, and Mrs. Anna Cowan of Dayton Rd 2, two brothers, David Hilliard of Sligo, and Harold Hilliard of Mahoning Rd. Three sons Malvern Hilliard of Fresno, Fred Hilliard of Fresno, and George Hilliard of Los Angeles, 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Carson Funeral Home of Rural Valley is in charge.
