Ruth Ann Kelton, 71, of Thompsonville, Illinois, passed away Thursday November 21, 2019 in the SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She was born February 17, 1948 in West Frankfort to William David and Eleanor (Swiger) Masters. She married James Kelton and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Tonetta of Marion and Effaney (Leslie) of Benton; a son, T Kelton of Thompsonville; a nephew, of Thomsonville and by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Jerry Johns and by a brother, David Masters.
She was a member of the Thompsonville Church of God.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2019 in the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort.
Burial will be in the Denning Cemetery on Orient Road.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
