Survivors include her husband Chester Carpenter; two sons, Sam Allred of Detroit, Mich., Claude Allred of Dumas; one daughter Mrs. Maude Wehunt of Hot Springs; three step-sons, two step-daughters, eight grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were at Caruth Funeral Chapel with Bro. Colombus Mahan officiating. Pallbearers were Wayne Warwick; John Wehunt, John Wehunt, Jr., Jimmy Wehunt, Wayne Taylor and Ed Widener. Burial was in Cunningham Cemetery near Royal.
